International Triennial Earth-Moving and Building Machinery Exhibition
Samoter is the main Italian event dedicated to earth moving, site and construction machinery and is a leading reference show in Europe. Italy is one of the main European markets for quarry and site machinery with a background of production companies that have developed a major vocation for exports; moreover, its geographical position encourages trade with countries bordering on the Mediterranean area, the Balkans and Eastern Europe;
The exhibition layout and collateral events are the strong points of the Exhibition, that stands out from competitors thanks to clear organisation around trade sectors that is especially effective for visitors;
The "demo area" allows all exhibitors to present machines in operating contexts directly inside the exhibition centre, with dynamic demonstrations of machinery, equipment and special vehicles for quarries and building sites;
Samoter, in line with market trends, intends to continue its efforts to expand awareness in the building world as regards new perspectives for sustainable construction. Sustainability, interpreted as economic, environmental and social responsibility, and a genuine role supporting construction and earth-moving fields, are the focal aspects of the new concept being implemented for the 29th edition of the Show, with the intention of turning it into a place of comparison and an opportunity for knowledge and updates in this field.
Samoter focuses special attention on markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean area, Asia and South America. Within the scope of promoting the internationalisation process and entry into markets with the liveliest economies, Samoter organises initiatives for buyer targets against an increasingly "relational" and business background. The buyer's club service will encourage meetings between exhibitors and buyers, thanks to attendance by numerous delegations invited to the exhibition from more than 30 countries.
Samoter ensures capillary visibility supported by far-reaching communication action with international media coverage through the main information media in the sector, pre- and post-exhibition specials in the national and international trade press, direct mailing to selected operators, a constantly updated Internet site with sector news, the creation of the new Samoter forum, a platform for debate open to the industry as a whole;
Samoter also promotes the segment entirely dedicated to this industry by organising a joint promotion with Marmomacc, with the objective of providing high specialisation and quality through qualified appointments for operators and professionals alongside comparisons for defining future scenarios in the building economy.
