The mission of Arena Opera Museum is to contribute to the enhancement and spreading of the Italian opera culture with an exhibition of original documents, using multimedia techniques. The guiding concept of the new museum is to show the visitor through the amazing creative process to the staging of a work: from the wording of the libretto to the writing of the score, from the design of the sets and costumes, from the first sketch to the play, to the preparation of the singers, until the actual theatrical production.
From April 22 the exhibition "I love Pavarotti" has been opened; it is dedicated to Luciano Pavarotti, the great tenor who died five and a half ago. Organized by the Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti and the Fondazione Arena di Verona, the exhibition at Palazzo Forti will remain open until September.
Nine rooms dedicated to love Pavarotti, where the Master's voice tell itself with video, also unpublished, photographs, films, three-dimensional representations.
